BookDirectly started from our own experience operating a short-term rental. We wanted a clean way for guests to book direct, keep calendars in sync, and handle agreements and payment without living inside a complicated PMS.
The products we tried were powerful, but often felt like overkill for a host running one or two properties. So we built something narrower on purpose: direct booking infrastructure for independent hosts who want control without complexity.
